Why grids?
The role of elected politicians
The Climate Parliament works with strong, motivated Members of Parliament who share a commitment to raise ambition on climate and renewable energy. We believe that they are our best hope to save our planet, and to drive action at the speed and scale required to avoid a climate catastrophe. By shaping laws and policies, allocating budgets, engaging with all the relevant stakeholders, building consensus across party lines and working with their counterparts at the global level, Members of Parliament can create the political will necessary to accelerate the construction of green grids, the transition to renewable energy and the mitigation of the impacts of climate change. Here are some of the ways they can help do that.
